Welcome to Winter Haven Hospital. Our mission is to improve the health of all we serve through community-owned health care services that set the standard for high-quality, compassionate care.

We are a 468-bed acute care, not-for-profit hospital specializing in cardiac health, cancer treatment, and orthopedic surgery. Winter Haven Hospital was founded in 1926, established a separate 61-bed Women's Hospital in 1987, and joined BayCare Health System in 2013. The Women's Hospital includes a Level II neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and a breast imaging center.

Our cardiac services, collectively provided by our Bostick Heart Center, include open-heart surgery, interventional cardiolgy, electrophysiology and cardiac rehab.

Cancer treatment services, from our Cassidy Cancer Center that is staffed with board-certified oncologists, include radiation therapy, chemotheropy and surgery.

The orthopedic program includes several board-certified surgeons, a newly renovated recovery unit with private rooms, in-patient and out-patient rehabilitation services and patient-centered pre- and post-op services.

Other services at Winter Haven Hospital include emergency care, diabetes, endoscopy, wound care, inpatient psychiatry, in- and out-patient rehabilitation, outpatient surgery, and imaging and lab.

Winter Haven Hospital also operates an outpatient behavioral health center and a community blood center.
